The content of your life dictates how content you are with your life

Remember, you are the gatekeeper of what you let in and you get to decide how you fill your days.

Every single thing that enters you body, you are the one responsible for it. You can turn off the TV. You can stop looking at Facebook. You can cancel your Netflix subscription… IF you want to.

You have those choices. You can go to the supermarket and decide what food you buy.

Look, I’m not perfect on this stuff, I don’t pretend to be. But I’m a damn site better than I used to be and that’s what matters. Aim for progress, not perfection.

The Content You Create

If you’re trying to build a business to help other people, to influence other people, what kind of content are you going to put out? What are you gonna create? What message are you gonna share?

How are you gonna do that? Are you gonna get over your own fears and get on stage? Are you going to get on video? Are you gonna create social media content and push it out? What are you actually gonna do?

If you’ve got a powerful message and nobody hears it, it ain’t powerful

How do you get good at something?

Expertise comes from experience.

How do you get experience? By making mistakes.

The way you get good at something is by getting it wrong. That’s how you learn your real lessons. If you embrace your mistakes then they are NOT failure, they are research.

There’s no such thing as failure, there is only research

Imagine when you were a child, if your parents had said, “no, you don’t understand how to do this walking thing, don’t bother,” would you have gone through your whole life still crawling on your knees?

How many times in your life do people say similar things to you…

“No, that’s not you, that’s not your thing.”

How do they know? How do they know?

Stay true to yourself and be the architect of your future
